Saturday 9th January 10am-1pm: Empty Shops and Artists Funding Workshop meet at the OJS

Saturday 16th January 10-1pm: Lloyds Corner Design Workshop at Action Group HQ, the OJS

Wednesday 27th January 5.30pm: South Yorkshire Energy Centre Training, meet at the centre, 5.30pm

Wednesday 24th February: Built Environment and Landscape Students Presentations and Action Group Social. At 6.00pm at the Action Group HQ, the OJS

A meeting to welcome our new Action Group members and to plan future projects will be held in Distinctive Sharrow Action Group HQ, at the Old Junior School on Thursday 15th October at 6pm.

1. Introductions to new members, potential new members and volunteer forms for all

2. Review of contributions on Housewarming night and discussion of potential new projects/ capacity/ desires to see things happen/ links to other groups

3. You choose £1,000 funding. Do we want to apply and if so what would the project be?

4. Brief discussion of community consultation that is ongoing and potential role for the action group

5. Wintermarket- do we have a stall/ presence/ role?

The good news is that there can be up to 100% discount on rates for shops used for 'meanwhile' community uses... This is however, discretionary and so we would have to discuss it with the council...
